Committee Descriptions

Bulldog Bonanza
Coordinate online raffle, acquisition and distribution of prizes

Typically 2-5 times per year (generally at least one week per each season); may be going to just once per year for VIP grad packages

Comfort level with Facebook online raffles is helpful
Chef’s Night Out
Coordinate fundraiser nights with local restaurants

At least once per each of the three seasons but could be more depending on interest

Ideal for someone with spurts of time who is comfortable making some phone calls and advocating for Boosters
Coordinate ordering/maintaining inventory, create Sign Up Genius, monitor product, volunteer status
Throughout the year
Large time commitment performed in conjunction with executive board; co-chairs would be ideal
Digital Communication / Social Media
Maintain/update Booster website, coordinate all email blasts, organize social media posts
Throughout the year
Large time commitment; requires specific skill set
MembershipBrainstorm membership level improvements, giveaways; develop content for flyers/signage to promote membership; work during residency events
Main work from June to end of July; usually involves at least one meeting with exec board to nail down membership details/giveaways. Membership chair(s) is usually heavily involved in working the Booster table during the July residency event (where most of our memberships are collected)
Ideal for someone who can handle a burst of work in June/July; rest of year is mostly monitoring
Coordinate all product design and inventory; may also handle delivery
Large time commitment throughout year
Usually done in conjunction with exec board member/co-chair
Memory Books
Coordinate with graphic designer; maintain timelines; promote shoutouts

Burst of activity three times per year

If you have a project management background, this might be the committee for you; coordinated with an exec board member
Team Reps
Confirm team reps across sports each season; manage all Team Rep communications and help serve as a liaison with the board
Throughout the year
Large time commitment; ideal candidate is organized with timely responses and is comfortable with detailed communications
Coordinate data entry at the end of each season into TouchPro portal

Someone looking for a moderate level of volunteer commitment who has a comfort level with computers and attention to detail is the ideal chairperson for this role
True BlueCoordinate getting 10-20 ‘true blue’ cards (already made) to staff at home football games and 3-4 home basketball games. The cards are given out by the RB staff to students for free concession items (students selected for showing true blue spirit like following the night’s theme especially well or showing a lot of enthusiasm for the game)
Fall and Winter Seasons

Low level commitment; great for someone who will be at football and basketball games already
Booster Scholarship
Coordinate committee, liaise with school for scholarship materials (already prepared), moderate discussion to identify finalists, follow up with AD regarding finalists, coordinate a board member to present the award

Concentrated in March-April

Activity clustered into one-month span; all scholarship paperwork and template emails already prepared
Bulldog BounceCoordinate this ‘fun’draiser event at Pack the Place (sell numbered ping pong balls for half-time activity to ‘bounce’ into basket
Pack the Place event (typically early Dec)

Activity clustered into 2 week span; all materials in hand; need to line up volunteers and liaise with Best Buddies leads (Janet Collela and Mitch Zilinger)
